Breathwork
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork transformed my life, and my clients’ lives for 25 years.
In my 25 years in practice, Breathwork has been a massive game-changer for my clients. It works on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels to heal, transform and create. It releases deep emotional baggage, unloads stress, improves your physical health and clears your mind. On top of that, Breathwork strengthens your connection to Divine Intelligence. It is one of the most powerful transformational techniques I have found in a quarter-century of helping people heal.
Are you ready to clear out stress and stored negative emotional baggage from your body?
Are you ready to feel the power of Source Energy within every cell?
Why do I need a session or class?
It can be difficult to both use this technique on your own effectively and to stay disciplined for the length of time required to have a profound experience. I guide you through the process, helping you to navigate the deep experiences that may arise.
Research suggests that our brains and bodies are evolutionarily hard-wired to benefit from the instrumental support of our teachers and communities. Breathwork with a group increases the power of your experience and gets you better results.
Additionally, in each of my sessions and classes, I introduce key concepts that will unlock the doors of your mind and heart to even greater healing and transformation.
What is it? How does it work?
Breathwork is an open-mouth circular breathing technique that pushes oxygen into each cell, detoxifying and enlivening. As you breathe using this technique for 45 minutes, you gain energy, clarity, and release emotions and stress. Then, after 45 minutes of breathing in this specialized way, you get BLISS TIME where you breathe through your nose and allow all of the healing energy that you’ve built up to integrate. Bliss Time is where the integration of spirit, mind, heart and body all coalesce into something that will absolutely transform you.
Who can have a breath session?
Sessions are great for almost everyone. I have provided a list of contraindications below. Make sure you read it!

How to Prepare for a Breathwork Session
Just like a dog may resist going to the vet, your ego may try to sabotage your breath experience through technical difficulties, distraction and other clever ploys. The ego’s job is to maintain homeostasis and it can be quite creative with its avoidance techniques. Just remember that the amount of resistance is usually directly proportionate to the amount of true change that you will experience through Breathwork, so try to push through it, show up for yourself, and watch your life transform for Real.
NOTE: If it’s your first time doing a Live Online Breathwork Class, don’t wait until the time the class is scheduled to read these instructions. If you do, you’ll be late and miss important information you need in order to do the breathing technique correctly.
1. Video: We use Zoom for the video classes. If you don’t already have it, Download the Zoom app to your computer / device if you don’t already have it installed. Please add your name and location in your Zoom box.
2. Join the class at least 15 minutes early to ensure you don’t have technical or log on troubles. I will not be able to help you with technical difficulties. If your internet connection is bad, turning the camera off may help.
3. Space/Set-up: Position your computer or device so that you can be seen on camera while you breathe, and set the volume to your liking. You will need to lay flat without anything under your head because it will obstruct the airflow and energy circulation. To that end, set up a yoga mat, blanket on the floor (floor is best) or lay flat on a bed. If you are in bed, try to lie in a position that is not your normal sleeping position (such as upside-down or crosswise) to signal your mind that this is different than sleep time. If necessary, a bolster under your knees is fine, but try to avoid it if you can as it will block the flow of energy to the very areas that need it the most. Or you could try breathing without it first, but have it right next to you if you feel like you need to use it.
4. Dress: Wear comfortable, loose clothing so that your belly and chest can fully expand. Sometimes women will undo or not wear a bra if it is too restrictive. Removable layers are ideal as there can be temperature changes as a part of healing. Being physically comfortable will ensure that you are not distracted. Have a blanket nearby to cover yourself, if needed.
5. Visibility: If this is your first time doing Breathwork, I suggest positioning the computer so that I can see you from the waist up when you’re lying down. If you’ve done the Breathwork before, you can turn the camera off if you feel more comfortable. However, there is healing value to being seen by others, plus it generally intensifies the experience and helps with accountability.
6. Eating/Drinking: Drink a little water before and be sure to use the bathroom right before your session. It is not ideal to eat right before a session, especially a heavy meal, but even if you do, the breathing will still be effective. Ideally, try not to eat at least an hour before your Breathwork session. If you need to eat before, go for something light that will stabilize your blood sugar.
7. Aftercare: Drink plenty of water afterward and be gentle with yourself as you integrate your new heightened vibration. Your heart and mind will be wide open, so don’t go run a marathon, get drunk, quit your job, or pick a fight with your significant. Just allow yourself to experience and integrate the new energy without doing something with it. Don’t be surprised if your body has emotional and physical releases as part of the healing. Emotions and physical symptoms are signs of deep healing and release. Try to get more sleep than usual as this will help take your healing experience even further and deeper.
